What do you prefer doing at a place of worship ? Looking at Katrina Kaif's legs ? Or to concentrate on worshipping

Just came across another hilarious human property in today's TOI.

Devotees at Khwaja moiddin chishti's shrine were more interested in looking between Katrina Kaif's legs rather than concentrating on worshipping ... And the worst part, they hold Katrina to be responsible for that ... why ? She wore a skirt to the shrine whereas women are supposed to wear Burkaas and be covered from head to toe at this place. But why ? Just because the men can't concentrate on worshipping when they have a lady around them :o .. or is it that women don't have the right to worship ..

Why is it that the people prefer the lady over the Almighty ...

As far as my understanding goes, this is another step to supress the women in our society.

Let's see if any of the readers can figure out a reason for this strange behaviour from the so called open minded society that we have :).

Haha! :D

If it were not a place of worship, perhaps staring at KK's legs isn't such a bad idea after all... :)

However, women's clothing in places of worship is an issue everywhere: be it the Mormons in the US, or the Golden Temple in Amritsar, or of course, the Dargah in this case. I would say that the 'powers-that-be' should leave the issue of what to wear to those wearing it, instead of showing their actual colors!

Nevertheless, given the vibrant democracy that India is, such things [although rather annoying and blown out of proportion by a sensationalizing media] are not unexpected. :)
